Gianluca Manfredonia

Graduated in percussion instruments at the Conservatory of Latina “O. Respighi”, Gianluca Manfredonia has deepened the study of percussion at the “J. Rodriguez of Valencia " (Spain). After the conservatory he started to focus on vibraphone and drums in different genres. He is also a multi-instrumentalist. He collaborated for years with Metamorfosi, N. Piovani, Malta Philarmonic Orquestra, Ars Ludi, Blow Up, OIC (Italian Cinema Orchestra). Nowadays he is involved in Piovra Project, Lovecats and Brew 4et. He recorded two albums as a drummer with the Metamorfosi (Chimica Ormonale 2012, Chrysalis 2016). After launching the release of his solo project "Piovra Project" as a drummer he also recorded the jazz album "DROPS" (2022) as a vibraphone player with Brew 4et for the norwegian label "Losen Records". Now he is working on the realization of the second album of the ensemble. He is part of another project called Tetrad 4et with an upcoming debut album "EVEN ODDS" (2023). Laura Klain Trio is a new project with an amazing bass player: Ares Tavolazzi. They have an upcoming album recorded in june 2023. The last new project as a vibes player it's called Flowstate. It's a trio where he play vibes and synth. They are now working on the first album.
